Origin Stones

Contact Origin StonesAt Origin Stones, we take great pride in bringing you hand-selected, one-of-a-kind mineral specimens, and as such, no two of our stones are alike. Please contact us if you are looking for matched sets, or for a particular type of stone or cut.  Some items, such as display stands, can be special ordered in quantity.

We are always happy to accommodate special orders when we can.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, or you need many specimens of the same type of stone, please email us so we can help meet your needs.


We accept PayPal and credit cards.

CA residents are required to pay sales tax.

Refunds and Exchanges

We will happily accept returns for store credit if notified within 14 days of when the item is shipped, or up to four weeks on International orders.  The items must be returned in their original condition.   The store credit will include the purchase price of the stones and sales tax (if applicable), but not shipping.  Once we receive the items in original condition, we will issue a store credit for the total cost of the items minus shipping.  For more payment and shipping policies, please see our FAQ section.

Layaway and Holds

We are sorry, we do not offer holds or layaways at this time.


We process orders within 1-3 business days.  Shipping takes 3-5 days for First Class Domestic, and 1-3 days for Priority Domestic.  International orders take several weeks once the package leaves our shop.

All items are shipped to the address you list in your order.  You are responsible for making sure the address you list is correct and current.  If a package is sent back to us as undeliverable, it is your responsibility to pay for shipping again to your correct address

We ship USPS First Class, Priority Mail, Flat Rate Priority, International First Class and/or International Priority, however we can get the items to you safely, in the most timely manner, for the least cost. All orders are shipped in padded envelopes or boxes, depending on the quantity of stones. We carefully pack every item for maximum protection, and we are not responsible for lost or damaged goods caused during shipping. Not all international orders are insurable, but we will insure all those that apply.  We will also automatically insure any shipment over $200.  If you’d like to have your package insured, and it is not over $200 or international, please contact us so we may accommodate you.
